Issue:

The Windows Appliaction log reads:

Request failed: http://ArchiveServerIP/Remote/RemoteDataService.svc
Could not retrieve remote entities when getting Server, Entity information.

Cause:

An application pool on the archive server giving this error has failed to recycle properly.

Resolution:

Run the IISRESET command from an elevated command prompt window on the archive server.
