Axis Q7406 Encoder Setup

The Axis Q7406 encoder has a unique setup from other encoders in ESM.  This encoder is setup with an individual IP Address for each channel (unlike most encoders that have the same IP address with different encoder ports to select.)

In the ESM Admin interface on the camera settings page under the devices tab, make sure the IP Address is set to its individual IP Address for that port and that  the encoder port is set to"1" for every channel setup.
