The time zone ESM uses while recording

Some customers find that when looking through raw footage on the server that video footage from yesterday is showing up in today’s folder. It looks as though ESM creates the folders for the following day starting around 6 p.m. instead of 12 a.m. 

This is not a problem. This is by design. Everything is recorded / stored using UTC (effectively GMT) then converted / displayed based on the server / user time zone. It will still show up correctly in the Archive for viewing for the correct date and time.
