Enabling Time Stamp Feature on Live View Streams

A time stamp is an overlay on the camera image that will display the current time.

In order to enable this time stamp to show on live view streams,you will have to log on the server, open up the ipConfigure web root folder (where you installed ESM. Stored by default to the C: drive). Open the web.config file using notepad. Locate the following line:

<add key="LiveViewTimeStamp" value="False"/>

By default the value is set equal to "False." Change it to "True". Save this file.  

This option is only available on cameras that have the time/date stamp feature.  The time stamp will have to be set up and enabled in the camera as well.
