Able to link a server in admin interface but unable to expand the tree

If you are able to link a server in the administrative interface but unable to expand the tree for that archive location, make sure your time/date settings are in sync between the archive server and the management server. Double-check that the server is in the correct time zone and whether daylight savings time is enabled.

Management Server will populate errors in the event viewer under the application logs similar to this:

System.Data.Services.Client.DataServiceQueryException: An error occurred while processing this request. ---> System.Data.Services.Client.DataServiceClientException: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?><m:error xmlns:m="http://schemas.microsoft.com/ado/2007/08/dataservices/metadata"><m:code /><m:message xml:lang="en-US">An error occurred while processing this request.</m:message><m:innererror><m:message>Specified argument was out of the range of valid values.
Parameter name: ESM credentials have expired. Ensure that your system clocks are in sync.</m:message><m:type>System.ArgumentOutOfRangeException</m:type><m:stacktrace>

Archive Server will populate errors in the event viewer under the application logs similar to this:

Message Delivery error communicating with the Admin\Services\Group.svc service.
System.ServiceModel.EndpointNotFoundException: There was no endpoint listening at http://xxarchiveserverxx/admin/services/Group.svc that could accept the message. This is often caused by an incorrect address or SOAP action. See InnerException, if present, for more details. ---> System.Net.WebException: The remote server returned an error: (404) Not Found.
at System.Net.HttpWebRequest.GetResponse()
